We appreciate these are testing times and you may have lots of questions when you are considering a care home for yourself or your loved one. Our experienced and caring team are always at hand to answer any questions you may have, so we have listed some of the common questions which may help to put you at ease.

Care Services

We provide residential, nursing care for elderly adults and dementia care. 

Yes, we offer respite care for all those who wish to stay temporarily, this could be for those who are in recovery phase from medical procedures or for those families/friends requiring a break. 

Our staff will develop a customised strategy outlining the different medical, physical, and emotional requirements. Our caring staff will provide a variety of engaging activities and encourage each individual to live their best life.

Our rooms are specially designed with our residents in mind; we frequently customise rooms to your needs, ensuring that all medical, mental, and personal requests are taken into consideration.

We have a highly qualified health care team work closely with one another, they monitor and assess the ever changing needs of our residents 24/7.

Your assigned carer will keep a track of your health and medical condition, they collaborate with your doctor to identify which treatment or care will best suit your changing needs and adjust accordingly.

No, however, visitors who are seeking to visit in the evening we suggest you send a request in to [email protected]

This can take unto 48 hours with administrative documents that are required to be completed.

Our goal is to create an atmosphere where people can express themselves has always pushed us to improve our delivery of personalised care. Commitment and passion are qualities we are hold key to our success, having a positive atmosphere not only for our residents but also our team to continue to deliver the best care we can.

Our rooms, At Eastbourne Grange, are fully furnished and also with en-suite, ready for our residents to personalise and make it their own.

Costs are dependant on the needs of each individual, a guide is provided on initial enquiry and final costs once assessments have been completed. 

Generally paid via a monthly bill by bank transfer, standing order or cheque.

Lifestyle & Activities

We also host seasonal activities and festivities, as well as as outings, these regular activities are encourage but at the complete choice of the resident.

Of course, each resident will have in place the level of assistance they require, normal routines are encouraged. 

All rooms are immaculately cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis and checked by the team on a rota.

The home will manage this for you, all laundry is done in house at the home with special care given to those with allergies or special requirements. 

Yes, we do offer hairdressing services on a weekly basis. We have a mobile dresser who visits on every Tuesday to style and cut as requested by the residents.  

Our cooks provide a daily menu board with a nutritious meals to choose from. We provide two menu choices and change this seasonally, additionally to this personal requests are also arranged. 

Rooms at Eastbourne Grange are fully furnished. We leave this open for the resident to bring/supply their own furniture or we can supply this also. We encourage our residents to put their character and style into their room with things such as photo frames. 

No, this we supply, however you are welcome to bring your own if this is your preference. 

No, we don’t allow pets in our care home, you may arrange with management to see pets during family visits. 

Yes, we ask all clothing to be labelled before entering the home. 

Yes, all rooms have BT phone sockets. 

Medical & Health

We support residents to continue with their local GP if local to us or we assign local GP’s for specialists when required.

To guarantee the safety of our residents and their family, we have created a variety of measures, including the use of safety equipment and vaccination programmes, as well as the creation of designated safe visiting areas.

If you don’t have your own GP, then we register you with one of our locally trusted practitioners. 

Prior to admission, each resident is assessed to ensure that they get the best possible care. Care plans are evaluated on a regular basis and adjusted as needs change.

Our team work closely monitors your medication, its amount, and administer for those who are unable to do so.

We offer bespoke diet plans for residents as per their nutrition needs in order to maintain healthy life style and work along side medical needs.
